http://images.linuxquestions.org/cdntest/front.html is very slow, the rest are about the same.

We've updated the main site to use a new CDN. Has anyone noticed a difference over the last 24 hours?

I just noticed CSSes don't show. I saved http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...dd8f-00007.css through a browser (as in it should detect offered MIME types) and 'file' says: style-729edd8f-00007.css: gzip compressed data, from Unix. Have a look please?

Nothing has changed with the serving of http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...dd8f-00007.css as it's not being served through the CDN. It's also being served with the correct MIME type from what I can tell:

Quote:
$ HEAD -S http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...dd8f-00007.css
HEAD http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...dd8f-00007.css --> 200 OK

If you're browser supports gzip, the file will be delivered compressed. Are you actually seeing something broken?

OK. Bit odd since I get clientscript/vbulletin_important.css?v=381 OK but clientscript/vbulletin_css/style-729edd8f-00007.css not. Ignore client-side prob, I'll check some more. Everything else looks OK BTW.

[EDIT] No more gzip. All good.

Page load times seem much improved.No sign of the previous reported problems so far.
At least for me anyway.

Stuff is also seeming good for me the last few days. Page loads are fine etc.

I do believe I noticed a few glitches while the transition may have been taking place, but since then, all is well

One odd thing happened today; I'm not sure if it's related though: I posted a URL in a post, using the [url] tags to put some text describing the URL, like so (the typos are intended):

[uurl=Some Text Here]h t t p://some-site.com[/uurl]

and it refused to make a link out of the URL, my Text was not displayed, and the URL was posted in plain-text.. Weird..

EDIT Phooey! Never mind :/ I must have been asleep when I posted -- I had the text and the URL in the wrong places!!
