I think the code button (#) should be in the quick edit and quick reply toolbar as default.
Considering this is a technical forum based on a OS that is entrenched in coding (typing in commands == coding) code is used frequently to demonstrate problems and assist with them.
Currently, I find it easier to type in the code tags rather then click advanced edit.. then hit the code button.
If it's possible to change it just for my preference - that'd be good too. (I can't identify any way of doing this)

Thanks for the feedback. The code button will be included in the quick reply after the next major code update. You can view the editor at http://www.chromeosquestions.org/forum.php for a better idea of what to expect.
Good to know. I was going to suggest that myself.
Also, I noticed that I can use Ctrl+B and Ctrl+I for bold and italics. I was wondering whether there was a shortcut for code tags as well and if not, would it be possible to add one? Thanks.
