No problems here!It just works.Ubuntu Gnome 16.04
I just decided to try dual monitors on my old HP dual core laptop. It is an oldie, but does have an SSD boot drive. It only has 4 GB RAM, but is presently playing a You tube video on another tab.I am running Ubuntu Gnome 16.04.I previously ran Ubuntu 16.04 on this machine, but wanted to try Gnome before I put it on my desktop. No problems so far.In the recent past I have had issues on this machine running other distros, such as Mint,Peppermint, and others.Specifically,The dual monitor feature won't configure the way I want it.They all seem to want to put the main monitor on the left, and no matter what I do,it wont configure any other way.No such issue on Gnome 16.04.Also,I saw some USB issues relating to thumb drives, also not a problem on gnome. These don't seem to be hardware related,as I encountered the same issues on three different computers.
