Did you check after you entered the command to add the route? I would of expected something like the above. Did you confirm the address of your router/gateway is 192.168.0.1?
Also try adding the gateway and dns information to the interfaces file.

Can you at least ping the router?

YES I can ping google.com now thank you for your work and yes I can ping 192.168.0.1 which is my router
