All right, try this:
1. Open up a console as root.
2. type "ifconfig", which should list your networking adapters. If everything is working fine so far there should be an wlan0 entry, specifying your WLAN card with its settings.
3. If you got this one, try typing: dhcpcd wlan0
4. Recheck the resolv.conf, it should now be in use and carry DNS entries.
At this point your internet connection either works, which means it's just a dhcp initialisation or setting error, or your dhcp-function is generally down, which leads to a different approach...
