I have the same exact card
We will need to know the problem first, before we can start fixing it
What Linux distribution are you using?
What is wrong with it? Elaborate on this as much as possible.
That will give us a good start.

Don't use airmon-ng. that never works for me.
Instead, do it "The Linux Way"
Disconnect from your netwoek using whatever GUI you use.
Type "ifconfig wlan0 down"
Type "iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor
Type "ifconfig wlan0 up"
You are now in monitor mode. happy hacking!

Type in "ifconfig -a" and post the output here. (Block out your IP address)

Funny question. But when you posted that, were you using your Ethernet or Wireless?

Well, the device with the most activity is eth0. So do the above commands with that
If that is your Ethernet, try eth1.

VMware + BT4 does not support Atheros cards.
http://forums.remote-exploit.org/new...g-problem.html
Try BT4 as a Linux Live DVD/USB or install it to your hard drive. It should work. If it doesn't, BT4 has a how-to to get it working:
http://forums.remote-exploit.org/bac...-work-bt4.html
You can also try VirtualBox, which is much better than VMware, although the Live CD DVD/USB or install to HDD is recommended first.
