Angry X-Windows Won't install on ZipSlack

I have tried to install X-Windows in all the ways that the X-Windows install readme, and in the Zipslack readme. I am a new Linux user, and when I run the /usr/X11/XF86Config program as mentioned in ZipSlack's readme, Recieve an error that says I do not have the right permissions to run it. I am logged in as root... Anyway to fix this problem? Please help!

According to here , you should use either /usr/X11R6/bin/XF86Setup or /usr/X11R6/bin/xf86config . The first one is the graphical setup. The other text.
