Question Where are old files to cleanup when using appimages?

Hi.

Where are the old files to cleanup when using appimages? When I give permission and launch a .appimage file, it says something like do I want to link to it. If I remove the original .appimage - where are the file(s) to manually delete located?

Thanks.

At a guess, I would look in /usr/share/applications. That's where .desktop files normally live.

You might also want to check /home/yourusername/.cache & /home/yourusername/.config. Many AppImages still create config files, and stash them in the usual locations. Even when you remove the AppImage, these are 'left behind' in case you decide to run it again.

Mike.
