Aah, because the VMWare products are not Free as in FLOSS, nor do they support
Seamless Desktop, or not that I know of at any rate [
Update: yes it seems that Seamless Virtualisation can run with VMWare]... nor does VMWare's license allow for redistribution like Qemu and the GPL.
Granted, the concept of Seamless Desktop [edit: Seamelss Virtualisation] throws out the concern for an all-Free desktop by definition, but its a lot better than loading the full-blown Windows.
