Steam Linux - SteamUpdateUI: An X Error occurred

Help please, I am unable to open steam application with command:

Code:
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia steam
I use Nvidia Prime render offload to run my apps with GPU. Steam app launches by using the standard command (not forcing the prime render offload), however the Games won't launch with Prime render offload any longer. Have the feeling that flatpak's nvidia dependency which have been installed automatically when installing any flatpak app may have caused some garbage with linking some runtime libraries, as before the games and steam were running fine with prime render offload.

Error message:

Code:
Running Steam on debian 11 64-bit
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically
Steam runtime environment up-to-date!
Steam client's requirements are satisfied
WARNING: Using default/fallback debugger launch
/home/myusername/.steam/debian-installation/ubuntu12_32/steam -nominidumps -nobreakpad

You are in the 'publicbeta' client beta.
Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1633666232)
SteamUpdateUI: An X Error occurred
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Installed steam's beta version to see if it solves it, but it didn't.

I use Debian XFCE stable, followed the wiki to install the drivers and steam: https://wiki.debian.org/Steam

Can you show us the output of "flatpak list" so we can see what dependencies are available/installed.

I am using Fedora and steam is available from the rpmfusion repo so have not installed it as a flatpak. I suspect there are others who have experience in using the flatpak so will be able to identify anything they see as an issue.

Thanks for the idea. I did reinstall my system without the flatpaks but the problem still persists. The problem must be with the nvidia-drivers or kernel. I filed a bugreport - will see if it gets accepted..
