Rhythmbox shows iPod Touch Device but can't view its content

Hello everyone,

As this issue isn't news to anyone, I've installed Rhythmbox on my Debian Wheezy OS and connecting my iPod Touch (2G) will result in recognition of the hardware but the audio player can't or list the songs that's in it. So far, the ipod plugins are installed or at least was checked in its preference table.

However I'm concerned if Rhythmbox is unable to handle this specific model of my iPod but it's unlikely since libimobiledevice has been updated to handle such hardware.

Can someone suggest any advice?
