Re #14.
How to build/rebuild a package.deb : Example qgo_1.5.4-r3-3debian9_amd64.deb .
Unpack the old qgo_1.5.4-r3-2_amd64.deb: $ dpkg -x qgo_1.5.4-r3-2_amd64.deb ./
... and you have one folder : usr/ → → usr/{ games/, lib/, share/ }.
Copy libpng12.so.0.49.0, libqt-mt.so.3.3.8 to lib/.
( The two files are from CentOS 6 packages.)
.... Create the links libpng12.so.0, libqt-mt.so.3
Write a qgo control file or use an existing one : Edit the control file.
Run $ dpkg-shlibdeps -t <executable>
.. in a random directory with {qgo, debian/control}, i.e. a dummy `control´.
→ $ dpkg-shlibdeps -t --ignore-missing-info /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 qgo
.. Add the Depends information from the created file debian/substvars
.. to the qgo control file.
Create a directory qgo. Move the package files to: qgo/:{usr/, DEBIAN/control}.
Run the package build command:
dpkg-deb -b packagename packagename_version_architecture.deb
→ $ dpkg-deb -b qgo qgo_1.5.4-r3-3debian9_amd64.deb
Note : I do never delete "Public" files from 'Google Drive' : The patches, examples, packages can be downloaded by anyone.
OK, please try out this one : qgo_1.5.4-r3-3debian9_amd64.deb https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O0K...ew?usp=sharing
... The old dependencies are included :
/usr/lib/{libpng12.so.0 <- libpng12.so.0.49.0, libqt-mt.so.3 <- libqt-mt.so.3.3.8}.
There is one issue : "No device audio found".
The application seems to work OK, but silent.

knudfl, what you said in #13 and offered here is version r3-3. But there is (officially) only r3-2! Right? Did you compile this r3-3 DEB yourself? Or, if not compiled, did you "rebuild" the package with the steps said in #16? I cannot find that file in the mirror page I point in #1.
