Nothing in logs when trying to connect to Tomcat

According to my netstat -l output Tomcat's listening on ports 80 and 443 on IPv4

Active Internet connections (only servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:https 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 localhost:28005 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 localhost:8005 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:8009 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:http 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:ssh 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp6 0 0 [::]:ssh [::]:* LISTEN

When I try to connect nothing shows up in the Tomcat logs from the time I try to connect (I checked localhost, localhost_access and catalina) and I just get connection timed out in my browser when connecting both by name and IP.
I've confirmed that it's not a firewall issue by scanning the ports on the host with nmap.

Is there any way I can find more about what's going on?
