create Xnest Laucher for user that won't kill X
I actually posted this question earlier on a different forum. I think it was the wrong one to put it in. So appologize for the confusion. If there is a way to remove it someone would let me know I will. Sorry for double posting.
Hi,
I was wondering how to create a laucher for Xnest that a user could use. I enjoyed this when useing slackware and I don't know how to reproduce it.
I am use useing fedora core right now(so basically redhat). And the command I am useing is gdmflexiserver -n X :1. As root i get a nice login screen. But as a user it kills X. But I would love to just hit a laucher and be on my way.
One last thing I get this message in as root from a terminal when I run the above command:
(gdmflexiserver:6098): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.
I don't Know this doesn't seem like a bad thing but I was just wondering if it was or not.
Thanks
