ÆØÅ problem In bluefish

Hello.
I am from denmark and planning to create a danish web-site, and in the danish alphabet there is the characters Æ,Ø and Å. But when I write the characters it doesn't show on the web-site as ÆØÅ but as some stange letters.

How can I get my characters to work on my web-site???

You can use UTF-8 escape sequences. Here is a link for a table of UTF-8 characters: http://www.tony-franks.co.uk/UTF-8.htm

Did you write a proper header to the html file(s) to tell that the document uses UTF-8 encoding? It may be assumed that it's something else, and then the characters don't display correctly. If you haven't already, try adding this to the page(s) at the head section:

Code:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
save and see if it helps (if nothing changes, empty your cache to make sure it's not your browser loading the old page). If that doesn't, and you're sure you set the encoding to UTF-8 in Bluefish when writing the pages, there's something bigger wrong.
