Good Day
I was intended to install bluefish Editor, but firs i had to install all the dependencies to the software, well there I was installing
GTK+
atk, glib, pango and pkgconfig.
atk was installed correctly using
./configure
then make
then make install, and no problems faced there
The glib software gave me a problem and then I went to install it's dependencies, one of them , as i read, was pkgconfig, doing it as the INSTALL file told me to I started with the ./configure option
and this message returned
Code:
...
...
creating glibconfig.h
./configure: line 6393: cd: /home/opuertas/Downloads/Install: No such file or directory
and I'm installing it from .../home/opuertas/Downloads/Install GTK+/pkgconfig-0.14.0/
I do not understand why does the ./configre is telling me that the directory does not exist if I'm installing it from one of its subdirectories.
I'm a newbie in this Linux Environment, so if this a stupid question, please have some patience, ok?
Best Regards
By the way, RedHat 9 -Shrike- is what I'm running...
