Unhappy why can't i install debian on my intel dg33fb board?


i am trying to install a debian etch on my intel dg33fb board with 2 gig mem intel core 2 duo processor, sata hdd and a cdrom, but i cant. the errors i encounter is that i cant see mt cdrom. disks and ethernet.

hope you can help me thanks

I had a similar problem on my board and had to boot the installer with linux libata.atapi_enabled=1. Hope that works.

If not, you might try downloading the latest Lenny (testing) installer.
