You are looking at instructions that are ten years old, and it doesn't appear as if that software has been updated for a *LONG* time. Would also help to know what version of Ubuntu Server you're using, or why you don't install/use the MyDLP appliance image which has the OS and software already.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I have installed ubuntu-22.04.2. I tried to search for MyDLP appliance image but could not find.
Virtual appliance given in following link also not downloadable https://www.mydlp.org/mydlp-community-edition.html
If you can share me anything for the installation.

Again, the open source version is **VERY OLD** and installing something of that age on a new server isn't going to be a good idea. If you looked on their website (did you?) https://www.mydlp.org/
And if you looked at the URL on their page (again, which is OLD) you'd see the error in the URL, and could have easily found it: https://www.mydlp.org/download.html
AGAIN: this is old software, and is now commercial software, found at: https://mydlp.com/

Thanks for your efforts. I think I should drop this idea to use MyDLP.
I concur with the sentiment that you should, first, evaluate whether you need to use "DLP" at all. Then, to use the commercial product.
Thank you for replying. I myself a Cyber security solution specialist/provider. I wanted to evaluate MyDLP so that I can finetune some and sell it to my customers.

If you were a 'cyber security solution specialist', why couldn't you see that software was ten years old, or had moved to be a commercial product??
