the never-ending story of spam

I noticed our server isn't rsyncing blacklists from spamhouse, and then saw this:

https://www.spamhaus.com/resource-ce...moving-to-dqs/

Then, who can guarantee spamhouse doesn't log/collect/process those dns queries about spam?
If we were to check each message for 'realtime service' , spamhouse could get datetime and ip address of all our incoming emails?

You can safely assume that they collect and store the query data, if nothing else then for the purpose of statistics/analytics.

If you don't want the blocklist provider(s) to know which domains you're getting mail from, you'll need to use other anti-spam measures.

And yet, there are certain parts of this world where Spam® is used and appreciated as actual meat! They prepare dishes with it and serve it in restaurants.

(I do not live in such a part ... nor do I live in an area which prizes Vegemite.®)

Have a look at iplists.firehol.org.
The complete Spamhaus Drop and Edrop lists are there together with a lot of other useful blocklists.
