Some shots and artwork

Hello there.
There's a big bunch of shots all over the place and even though these look pretty sweet, it still lacks the presence of words like "gentoo", "fluxbox" and sometimes "xcompmgr".
Here will be some of the shots i made from my box.

The crimson theme for my slim login manager and the same named theme for my desktop: fluxbox + xcompmgr + conky + audacious + urxvt

Gentoo + Openbox + cairo-compmgr + tilda running irssi + aterm + gVim + conky + netwmpager + pypanl + Openbox menu showing the use of pipe menus to select R scripts to edit/execute. The second shot is the same without all the apps running.

Thanks FredGSanford. How's Lamont and Grady? Yeah, it's taken me about 10 years of using Linux to get it to look like that .

Pretty good job you did back there. I once used Tilda and aterm even if not necessarily along with Openbox. I just could not be away too long from fluxbox. I quitted with Tilda since i had my urxvtc(yeah i run urxvtd) bound on one key. Xcompmgr would not get along with 3ddeskd so i had to leave the 3ddesktop deamon. I'll try cairo composite and see if i get better results. More shots soon

Xcompmgr is a proof of concept. I've never heard of anyone using it successfully for any length of time. If you want compositing cairo-compmgr works pretty well with lightweight WM like *box.

Will try. Been using xcompmgr for more than 2 years.
