LQ is the go to forum for Linux questions. I think the most useful improvement I can imagine would be better search results with very clear "solved" indicators.

An improved search is very much on the roadmap and can be tested at both AQ and CQ.

Too often I used to find the issue I needed, and I'd read the thread only to find that the question had been solved but the solution had not been recorded on the forum. Just a "thanks I figured it out" note from the OP. Those kinds of threads should be removed or flagged so that they stop popping up in search results.

When you see this, feel free to post a note asking the OP to include the solution in a follow-up. Ideally we can minimize these.

I really like it as it is. Please do not integrate it with Facebook or any other social platform (that is if there are any plans like that).

We have no plans for any kind of facebook (or other social network) integration at this time.

Congrats to Jeremy, the mods and all the members who are always willing to help out other users! I've used this forum for almost 10 years now and it's my favourite one, among all other forums I've tried.

Great to hear that LQ tops your list.

Thanks for the feedback. The blog is certainly an area that could use some attention.

Congratulations!
Every morning when I wake up, in my mind there's just breakfast and LQ.

If this wasn't for LQ, I would never have tried Slackware and would never have discovered the fact that there exists an bunch of awesome guys who devote their free time to help the Linux newcomers and anybody with a query, not just tell them to RTFM.
This forum tops my list of other Tech/Linux forums I've joined. Kudos to Jeremy, all the mods and all the members. I'll go have a beer today.

Regards.

LQ is a great forum not only for the fact that it's the only one that covers any form of Linux you can imagine, but for the generosity and helpfulness of its members.

There was an announcement that said AndroidQuesitons was a preview of what was to come here. Was there something wrong with AndroidQuestions?

And congrats to LQ - It's always been helpful and/or fun
