Unhappy xrandr Can't open display. startx and initx fails

I'm attempting to use FreePBX, Asterisk CentOS 6.6 distribution from Schmooze on an Intel Next Unit of Computing (NUC) small form factor PC for a Voice over IP (VoIP) intercom between house and barn where I already have IP cameras installed.
But it's not working.

In trying to resolve this problem I'd like to use the Intel NUC to browse for solutions and use KDE, Gnome or Xfce graphical environment but I get the error:

“Loading extension GLX. Fatal server error: (EE) no screens found(EE)”

I don't use linux often enough to intuitively know why this isn't working.

Logs and getinfo.sh output pasted at http://pastebin.com/qa3XrJkY

Thank you for your expertise!
Jules

Is there a physical screen connected to the NUC? Is it turned on? Was it turned on when you tried to start X?

$ sudo less /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Then type /\(EE\) and press enter. Then type / and press enter again. Which should give your more context around the error. Also check the WW's which are warnings. Type Q to exit. Actually lower case q.

The GLX part is a graphics library, perhaps it's not installed. Although I'd hazard a guess at a video driver issue. Could be not installed, or too old to function for your hardware, but I'm just guessing without context.
