I just did a very minmalist Plasma installation on openSUSE tumbleweed. I was able get readily distinguishable titlebars by installing various Oxygen packages:
  • gtk2-engine-oxygen-1.4.6-5.10.x86_64
  • gtk2-theme-oxygen-1.4.6-5.10.x86_64
  • oxygen5-5.21.0-1.1.x86_64
  • oxygen5-decoration-5.21.0-1.1.x86_64
  • oxygen5-icon-theme-5.79.0-1.1.noarch
  • oxygen5-sounds-5.21.0-1.1.noarch
  • oxygen5-style-5.21.0-1.1.x86_64
Then wherever in systemsettings I found an option to choose Oxygen, I did except in one place. Which of the oxygen packages I actually needed I can't say, but because the install was so minimal, I did not have icons where needed more than I did. One other change was choosing Plastik for window decorations.

HTH
Those oxygen5...thing.. what are they ? are they theme that i can install like packages ?

Why plastik ? i find plastik appearance is too "protruding", don't like it.... like breeze better.

BTW, what is the difference between all these "window decorations" ? aren't they look just the same ? apart from minor icon shaped differently ? I simply don't care much about these icon shape at all.. i don't even know why there is such thing call "window decoration" anyway.. the diffrence is too minute. :=)

There is absolutely nothing I like about Breeze compared to the previous Plasma default theme, Air, in Plasma 4. Breeze is overly bland, especially with regard to your objection to titlebars' minimal distinction between foreground and background, and the vexing manner of altering their colors. I particularly dislike Breeze's widely emulated (copied?) icon set. Oxygen was the only non-optional alternate In Plasma 4. Many Oxygen components were adapted to Plasma 5. It's non-obvious which of the various rpms do exactly what, other than oxygen5-icon-theme. AIUI, most themes are comprised of multiple packages, hence the list of oxygen5* rather than just one package. I use Plastik mainly because I don't like circles in rectangular environments.
