tomsrtbt hangs with 'LIL'

i was trying to look at a knoppix install that wouldnt boot & found my tomsrtbt emergency boot floppy wouldnt boot either. It just sez LIL & locks up the machine.

i made a new one in linux (from dos it didnt work) & same thing.

i did tell knoppix to install lilo its the root dir of the hard drive but have since restored the mbr & formatted the knoppix partition. dont see what that has to do with a boot floppy anyway, seeems like it should be independent of the hard drive.

I haven't used toms rescue disk in a while but from the looks of things, it looks like you are still trying to load the OS from the hard drive and not from the floppy.
