Premier photo site still requires Adobe flash to upload photos

The premier photo website, dpreview, still requires Adobe Flash to upload images to their challenge photo contests, even though many users have commented in the forums that it is nearly obsolete and also a security risk.

Should I wait on them to do away with flash or is it ok for me to get Flash - as far as security to my cpu goes?

For what you're doing it should be OK.

NB: once you install Flash, make sure very regularly that you are *up to date* since this program is massively searched for vulnerabilities/exploits.
More, maybe you could activate Flash on a site by site basis (whitelist)?
