my cannon bjc265sp printer won't run under SuSe 10.2

Hi all,

I'm new to linuxquestions.org, so I hope I'm on the right track.
My question is in relation to a cannon BJC265SP printer that wont' print under Suse 10.2.
Earlier versions have worked fine. I have loaded the correct PPD files, as recommended, but still get nothing out. When I “print”, I don't get any error messages or anything to indicate that it is not working, simply nothing happens at all! I can get the occasional “beep” when turning it on etc, so I think it is recognized as being there, but that is about it. Any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
DAMIDK.
