Hi,
I have 5 machines, all under Nux OS (One nux as firewall, one Debian's like, one Ubuntu 9.04, one Ubuntu 10.04 and one Debian Lenny).
All web and various servers installed on the Debian'machine. I recently made a huge shell mistake (remote rm with an empty data in a cronjob, well done
...) and had to reinstall from scratch the Debian's machine. Great fun with special Apache and PHP compiled.
So I spent quite a lot of time to set up some back up cronjobs on all these machines.
And I tried to install a VM (virtual box on the Debian machine) as it looks like to offer some significant advantages, like adding another distro, or ... enabling easy backups, as it would be an entire (virtual) disk.
I've installed the VM and it looks running on the Debian machine.
=> Questions: Assuming this would be a good choice, how to access and manipulate the VM from a remote machine on another subnet on my LAN ..? (could not find a detailed HOWTO for noobs)
Thx in advance
