Why? Does this pertain to the thread, or do just think we all want to click on every unrequested link from unknown sources?

Thank you.
>> the book is worth reading
it is helpful for the actions taken care by each OS(including windows) and performing related actions using automation (at any OS)
When performing the automation, that wont affect the system.
Based on the query:
>> I realize I need to start with fundamentals that everybody has to go through,

Sorry for writing long HISTFILE here:
One small example
I bought a laptop(after 07 years at IT) at 2010.
Till now at windows OS having following automation:
1. start bash.exe using startup.exe at startup directory
startup.c program double fork without stdin/stdout/stderr
open bash.exe to check battery power using WMIC.exe (automated shell script) to execute at background
if power is less/greater than 25%/98% open notepad.exe and display that alert to switch off/on the power.
Open putty.exe murugesandins@127.0.0.1 daily after login.
Open firefox.exe after login
Reason for power off => 2013 I bought my hp laptop. After 3 years power battery has gone.
I spent 4000.00 inr to buy new battery.
After 2016 wastage of money using power battery did not happen. I always used to provided this automation to IT team at all the companies/friends/families till now if they are buying new laptop.
However I have seen 99% employees are not preferring this automation for battery alert.
During 2019 hp laptop sound speaker has gone and service center told me 2013 laptop service not supported now.
Hence I am using acer laptop and decided never to use hp laptop in my life.
hp is very good only at printer alone which I am using from 2013 till now for my children school works including payments/backup/.../all automations.

If your interests are "3D printers," and therefore "Raspberry Pi" and maybe from then therefore also "Linux," I would frankly suggest that you start watching videos (and, of course, posting questions right here ...). But, so far as is possible, concern yourself only with your immediate target: "3D printing." Learn exactly what you need to know about "Raspberry's Linux" to let you do "printing." Because that's what you came for.

The Linux operating system is, of course, quite different from "Windows." But, on the other hand, it's still designed to "control a computer." The Windows system is, for the most part, (now ...) entirely centered around a "graphic user interface." Whereas Linux, in the context of Raspberry, probably does not use one at all. (Note: I don't know for sure.) But – they're both designed to do the same thing: "to control a computer," and "to let you therefore do useful things with it." (Like: "3D printing.")

Although Windows does have "a command-line" ... well, sort of ... you very likely have never encountered it.

The book is available on amazon or many other web sites for purchase. A quick search did not reveal any quick downloads for a 485 page document but did show a couple of places it could be read.
I think you would be asking for trouble for yourself to post a pdf, and certainly may make LQ liable if it were to show up here.

DON'T DO IT.

If you have written permission from the publisher then the status may be different, otherwise it is forbidden.
