How do I save a Word.doc file type in Libre? It's not allowing me, I get error

It gave me an error and only had something from like 1997-2003 word doc type as an option and when I selected that it gave me an error again so I left it as native Libre Write format). Thanks in advance.

Where are you trying to save the document? Is it possible that you're trying to save it in a system location? (Something like "/usr/bin"?)

Check the LO Writer options and ensure that the "Tools->Options->LibreOffice->Paths->My Documents" setting is pointing to a directory for which you have write permissions.

HTH...

linux-man,

I think it may help if you update your version of Zorin OS to the latest version, 15.2.

The previous Zorin OS 15.1 uses LibreOffice (LO) 6.3 and the latest LO download version is 6.4.4 from:
