Hello all!
Please, explain how to build smallest Linux in RAM distro using LFS? I think, that's possible to recommend some reading.
Thank you for your assistance!

I'd use another distro, strip it down to the smallest I can get it then figure out how to shove all of that into RAM, Slackware has scripts by alien bob, and others. Also, there are other distros out there too that give a means to build something off of what they already have.

LFS is just a learning tool, and yes one can and has put it out to the world as a distro, that they failed to take what it teaches to the next level to put out a much better distro then they did, and of course this is my option.

If you are coming from Windows I think you are starting out a bit to ambitiously. LFS is possible to use as a daily driver, not easy though. I'd use the NetInstall of Ubuntu or Debian personally and start there. Another option is Arch, though it is a bit more involved. But it is designed to start as a minimal system. The wiki is easy to follow.

My question to you is, how comfortable are you with a mainstream Linux distro? If your really good at running Linux then I'd start with a full LFS and BLFS build to thoroughly teach you what all goes onto a distro. After you are comfortable with LFS it's time to start with the custom stuff. If you don't have much experience with linux than get a beginner distro and use it for your every day OS before trying LFS.

Arch isn't a good starter distro, especially for someone coming from Windows. Ubuntu is the best one to get used to navigating the system with the command line. Then when OP is good, he or she can move to something more barebones.
