Hello,
I run Lubuntu 15.10 on my laptop and I've installed many desktop environments (I'm an indecisive person, lol) including lxde (default) gnome, gnome-flashback, ubuntu-desktop, ubuntu-studio, xfce, openbox, fluxbox, and MATE.
I've since decided to drop all of it and revert to good ole' fluxbox. When I started using fluxbox I noticed that sometimes certain things (like launching nautilus or swapping workspaces) cause the background to change to the one set by lxde, and of course, the right-clickable menu gets replaced by desktop icons.
I've uninstalled all the extra gui's via
Code:
apt-get purge packagename
and
but I'm still seeing the same issue.
Basically, it's like certain things sometimes trigger (not all the time, it's not even consistent) parts of lxde to pop out into fluxbox's space.
Any ideas?
Regards,
