Question Can't get Mandrake 9.2 to make a floppy Boot Disk

I downloaded Mandrake 9.2 on a Dell pll 400 meg with 256 meg ram, on my network then copied it to my gateway and burned it to disk. When I put it in any of the computers I have it boots up but will not go any farther. I get the Gray screen that tells me to back up my data I click OK but it will not install on the Dell or on my gateway Computer. it is a 1.2 gig celeron have 16x10x40 burner and 6X DVD Dr with 512 ram. I have win XP Pro on my gateway and win 98 2ed on the Dell. I Tried to use rawwright on both to make a floppy. I was able to make one for KNOPPIX 3.1 and it works on the dell.
Any help would be appreciated
Paul
