Can't install packages - bad signatures

What are they, are by disks forged or something?

I tried to convert a .dvi file to a PDF file and there was a problem with dvipdfm so I tried to reinstall all the packages and I had errors due to bad signatures. I had the same problem whilst trying to install tetex

Second problem - fortran. Is there a way I can get a nice GUI environment whilst I am writing fortran programs, like compaq visual fortran and Salford fortran? I know there are things out there which you can buy but they are VERY expensive and I wanted the cheapskate free solution.

Thanks

Mat

to install rpm packages without signature checking, first, make sure the rpm package is from a reputable source, cause this could screw up your linux system, step 2, run

"rpm --nosignature rpmname.rpm"

for the fortran, i have no clue
