can't get FEDORA isos....

i have a problem.... i can't burn CD1 right.... i had
problems with all 3 disc burning.... i downloaded all
of the isos from linuxiso.org & redhat.fedora.com and
run the md5sum on each iso and they where fine....
when i test my media(CD-Rs) in the linux installation
i get that my disc 1 FAILS... i don't really know whats
going on!!!

i have already wasted 14 CD-Rs (Sony Brand) and i have
used almost all of the cdrecord options.... so i really don't
know whats going on....

thanks

I had a test errror on my ISO during boot.
When I told it to skip the test it installed perfectly.
Now I know that's not necessarily the best option I had no problems at all. I am however installing it on a Thinkpad T20 and the DVD-ROM in it is CRAP at reading discs. On a previous install (I have 2 HDD's) I had to get it to retry some of the packages because the drive was playing up. But on retrying they installed perfectly.
Another option would to be to write the disc at a slower speed (even as low as x1 which improves the burn depth and technically the readability)

...and another option could be to make a bootdisk and point the installer to use the iso's themselves.
