I have just downloaded and installed SuSe 9.1. I did the auto update at install and everything loaded just fine. Problem is, I can't get the Control center to open. It comes up on the task bar sits there for a sec and then disappears. Also When I right click or "middle click" the desktop so I can change backgrounds absolutely nothing happens. I believe it is kde 3.2. I am running an Intel Celeron 1.2 ghz onboard video and sound.
I reinstalled SuSe 9.1 and at the auto update screen I did not let it patch kde. IT worked but now I have a new problem (natch). It worked fine for about half a day and now when I boot linux it get through the boot process and is about to load KDE and my monitor shuts down. I have seen alot of posts about this problem. any Ideas?
