Hi, i've recently switched to Linux from Windows, I tried two distro's Fedora and Pop_OS, currently using POP_Os and I really like it so far and planning to stay with it. However, since I installed pop_OS everything else is working except installation, I mean whenever I try to install anything or try to upgrade using "sudo apt upgrade" i'm getting the same error as "Errors were encountered while processing:
rtl8821ce-dkms", I tried installing git but getting the same error as well.
dkms is what apt uses to rebuild kernel modules. rtl8821ce looks to me like a wifi driver or firmware which needs to be added to the kernel after updating. That might be of some assistance to someone.
It sounds to me like the OPs problem may stem from the realtek drivers not being correctly installed or from the machine that he has POP_OS installed on. It would be of great help to us if the OP could provide us with out takes of the /var/logs/apt/apt.0.logging , this might give us a deeper look into what may be causing the OPs problems/issues.
