'autoskip' when copying under knoppix 5.0

Im trying to find out how knoppix 5.0 copies files under konqueror.

The reason is that, it has a really useful feauture, that upon finding corrupted files, will allow you to "auto-skip" any such files for the rest of the copy.

So my quiestion again, what process is running that is doing this. I want to try and replicate this feature somehow in one of my scripts (without the entire copy process aborting at the first error).

not sure about this.. Is it a feature of Konqueror maybe ?
Im pretty sure on my machine if it encounters a problem with file copy it just bombs out - i am using nautilus and Gnome however at the moment

you could try runn your knoppix disc up and do a # ps -ef|grep username
then start your copy off and do the same again and see if any processes other than konquerer itself have been spawned..
