The speakers aren't working, Aussie, i know you answered this before, so i logged into root and typed in 'chmod 666 /dev/dsp* and all that.... but i'm still stumped, said it was too few arguments..... prob is that i see the song playing on the screen, but no sound outta the speakers :-/

user acc'ts.... i know how to /usr/sbin/adduser and all that, but i was wondering the command to delete a user?? help me out?

Redhat has a console utility called "sndconf" or something like that, you might want to give that a go as root and reconfigure.

Wouldn't worry about little things like that...
I needlessly flashed the BIOS for a computer that I was building for my sister - it now doesn't work. Now that's what I call a dumbass!

Go to http://www.badflash.com and you should be able to get it fixed there, they sell flash roms preloaded with bios or can reflash yours.
