can't find nfs mount point during startup, but it's available later
I'm running OpenSuSE 10.2, and I have a couple of nfs mount points in my /etc/fstab. During bootup I get the message "can't get address for hpmediavault" and so the mount doesn't succeed. Yet if I try it again when everything has been initialized, it works. So there must be some network name resolver in the boot-up sequence that's happening too late. What might it be?
A related question: The runlevel editor lets me activate or deactivate startup services, but as far as I can tell it doesn't provide a way of changing their order. Is there a way to change the order that will survive most system updates?
