I have Linux Mint 17 quqinq on sda1, sda5 is swap. Ihave installed Elementary Os on sda6 and Peppermint 7 on sda7 for test purposes. Now I want to remove both Elementary OS and Peppermint from the computer, leaving only Linux Mint17. How to do this without booting problems? M.I.S
reboot and check for correct boot options.
once you have a bootable Mint (from new grub menu), reformat sda6 and sda7 partitions (if there are no files you need).
The simplest way is to first verify that the Mint bootloader is in the MBR for an MBR install, then either use GParted if it is installed on Mint or boot any Live CD with it on and unmount and format the partitions with Elementary and Peppermint.
