toshiba satellite c50 keyboard touchpad not working


My laptop keyboard & touchpad is not working in linux, i tried live usb of linux mint 17 & fedora 20.

It works perfectly in windows & in bios menu, as the linux os starts loading keyboard lights turn off.

Apparently you aren't alone in having problems and not just with Linux, according to a search for "toshiba satellite c50 keyboard linux."

I found this at Tom's Hardware. It's really oddball, but one poster said it worked for him.

Thanks a lot man...
I was searching for a long time for resolving this issue, including adding lot of boot parameters in grub,playing with xorg.conf,kbd & evdev.
