Dear Friends,
My printer "HP Laserjet M1005" is detected in Fedora 29 in my Laptop. Its status is showing as " ready to print". But, if I issue a print command, the printer never print or it gives an error message.
Please help.

It's a HP, so use hplip.

Even if it's wifi (which you don't say), connect via usb, open a terminal and type Follow the prompts.

I tried, also have to install hplip-gui. After I tried with $hp-setup, result is

You'll have to learn as you go in linux. Otherwise, everything you try to do will end in tears. There's a whole operating system out there.

You need to be in X. There's terminals in X. Some programs need X because they feed back to the X display. These are called vts = Virtual terminals. The ttys outside of X date from the 80x25 consoles connected via serial port and have very little graphical ability. Most people chsnge the runlevel so X starts automatically.
