Bluetooth device not found

Hello all!

I have an old HP Pavilion x2 notebook, installed with Linux Mint.
The problem I am having is with the bluetooth.
When I check in the terminal with lshw I am getting:
Code:
*-generic UNCLAIMED
                description: Bluetooth
                product: RT3290 Bluetooth
                vendor: Ralink corp.
                physical id: 0.1
                bus info: pci@0000:01:00.1
                version: 00
                width: 32 bits
                clock: 33MHz
                capabilities: pm msi pciexpress cap_list
                configuration: latency=0
                resources: memory:f1000000-f100ffff
However in the preferences→Bluetooth it states that no bluetooth device is detected.
How do I proceed?

From what little you have posted, it looks like no driver is loaded. ( I could be wrong there ).

Please post the output of these commands. 'sudo lsmod | grep blue' and 'rfkill list'. Just what is between the quotes.

I did a quick search on 'linux driver for RT3290 Bluetooth' and there are lots of hits. The solution is probably there.

May be a permission issue or could be a firmware issue. to get my bluetooth working I had to add my user to a group.
