Installed kernel-devel and source for i686; didn't create directory "build"

Hi, thanks in advance!

I have kernel 2.6.15-1.2054 with kernel-devel-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5.i686.rpm and kernel-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5.src.rpm. Everything seemed fine until installed the kernel-devel... with "open with 'install software'" It said it was installed successfully, but didn't create a "build" directory for me to install ndiswrapper in. (when i type "make install" while in root and the ndiswrapper directory it gives me an error saying the build directory doesn't exist) There is a broken link named "build" in /lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5smp. It's target is /usr/src/kernels/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5-smp-i686. in /usr/src/kernels/ there is a folder named 2.6.15-1.2054_FC5-i686 (without the -smp-).

I am trying to use ndiswrapper to install drivers for my Netgear WGT311 v2 wireless PCI card. It works fine on my Windows.

Please help! Thank You!

So fix the broken link, point the link to /usr/src/kernels/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5-i686;

Code:
ln -s /usr/src/kernels/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5-i686 /lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5smp/build

Ok Thank You! I actually figured out what was wrong: I needed kernel-smp-devel instead of kernel-devel because I have an smp kernel. But I do still have a problem installing ndiswrapper: I wrote a new thread about that. I would appreciate if you could halp me with that! Thanks!
