I've always used Linux on platter drives be-it SCSI, SAS, SATA, or PATA. I've always loaded Linux directly onto the drive partition and been good to go but now SSD disks are relatively affordable & I ended up getting two of
these drives. I've not installed anything on them yet & would like to know what I should know about installing Linux on a SSD? Anything I need to do or enable / compile? Does Linux 3.4+ kernel support TRIM like Microsoft does?
Thanks for any info!
