On aerials, **¹/4 Lamda (=wavelength) aerials are only a few cm. long, so I wouldn't worry about not seeing an aerial. It could be a bit of circuit board track, or a wire glued somewhere. Long wave radio which can be as low as 198KHz needs a quite long aerial.
