Exclamation Mic doesn't work

I'm running a Slack10.1 and the sound is really good, but I noticed the mic doesn't work when I tried to use Skype.

Then I tested the mic with a soundrecorder: nothing.
It's completely mute, even if I set all possible switches by mean of both kmix and alsamixer.

Can you help me out?
Thanks, buddies.

is there a switch on alsamixer go over using -> key?

Your mic maybe set up for use as an extra speaker for dolby 5.1 or something...
