can't configure belkin PCI wireless card

I am having problems getting my belkin F5D6001 PCI wireless card recognised - I'm using mdk 10 official, i586. After reading another post on here I gather the drivers aren't available from belkin but can be built with ndiswrapper - I installed ndiswrapper, copied the files from the CD and did

ndiswrapper -i Bel6001.inf

when I go to configure the card though (using mdk control center) there are no new drivers available...

this is the output of lspci:

00:00.0 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8363/8365 [KT133/KM133] (rev 81)
00:01.0 PCI bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8363/8365 [KT133/KM133 AGP]
00:07.0 ISA bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82C686 [Apollo Super South] (rev 40)
00:07.1 IDE interface: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82C586A/B/VT82C686/A/B/VT8233/A/C/VT8235 PIPC Bus Master IDE (rev 06)
00:07.2 USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. USB (rev 1a)
00:07.3 USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. USB (rev 1a)
00:07.4 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82C686 [Apollo Super ACPI] (rev 40)
00:07.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82C686 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 50)
00:08.0 Modem: ALi Corporation SmartLink SmartPCI561 56K Modem
00:09.0 Ethernet controller: Belkin: Unknown device 6001 (rev 20)
00:0a.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 10)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: S3 Inc. ProSavage KM133 (rev 03)

which has my card on there as an unknown device...what do I do now?

TIA

Is the ndiswrapper module loaded?

/sbin/lsmod

If not...

/sbin/modprobe ndiswrapper

Also, the device is added as wlan0, and Mandrake might be too dumb to see a wlan0 device as opposed to an ethX, although I doubt that's the case.

Cheers,

Finegan

I also have similar problem. Linux doesn't recognize my card at all. See complete description of my problem in the link below,

Let me know if you find out something.
