New Browser from dissenter.com

Just came across yet another web browser on this site and am busy checking it out:
https://dissenter.com/

Based on Brave but without the reward stuff and with a couple of tweaks.
It allows you to drop comments on websites for other "dissenter" users to see.
Has its own little social network at
https://gab.com/home

Looks interesting, and it is definitely different.

And the icon is green - not a speck of that ubiquitous red.
Refreshing eye candy.

and fyi, after digging in, I don't think that little social network is quite what I was looking for.

Yeah, not sure what to make of that. I'm certainly not going to sign up for that "feature." That seems to be the thing they're selling as the "big thing" for this browser—being able to comment on websites.

So, basically it's Brave, without the weird opt-in for targeted advertising thing (or whatever that is), and with the social network/comment on websites thing. It's a decent browser, but I don't know that there's anything here to draw me away from Firefox, which is pretty much true for ANY Chromium-based browser I've tried.

I'll keep it around for a bit, until I eventually delete it.
