Hey guys, so I have an Acer Laptop (Acer Aspire ES1-512-P84G 15.6-Inch Laptop), and when I attempt to shut down Peppermint, it shuts down fine. When I press and hold the power button, it shuts down fine. When I boot up, it boots up fine, but when I press the Reboot button, it goes to the Peppermint 'Shutting Down...' screen and freezes with the bar only a tiny way full (when it shuts down normally, the bar goes a little bit, and then shuts down with no trouble). I have a feeling that this may be indicative of a bigger problem, and besides, it's just dang annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried adding "noapic" to your kernel command line?
